ever since we got bebe her first pair of real shoes, which we put on every time we go outside, she has shown increasing interest in shoes of all kinds (mommy's and daddy's as well as her own). this morning, i had her closet open while packing for our upcoming trip to mems and teeds', and she pulled out a pair of sandals which she demanded that i put on her. she walked over to me, held out the shoe, sat down, and stuck her foot up in the air. so i put them on her, and she then inspected them with interest and tried them out, walking around her room a few times. they were definitely not as easy to walk in as her flexible-soled ones, but she thought it was hilarious.
