daily cuteness

bebe's new shoes -- her first real pair. now that she's starting to walk she needs something with real (but flexible) soles. so we ran out to the stride rite outlet this morning and found these, which fit the bill, and make her look like a little european boy to boot!

dragging her fire truck around like a doll -- this is, in fact, exactly how she holds her favorite stuffed animals and baby doll. she stood at the door for a good five minutes this evening with the truck dangling from one hand.

getting ready to take a tubba with daddy. she loves to watch the tub fill up.

these days, it's just one moment of cuteness after another, all day long. she plays "peekaboo" by putting her hands on the sides of her head (as though she has a massive headache); she waves goodnight to the trees outside her window before each nap and bedtime; she asks for her favorite music (the dino-5) by looking from my ipod speakers to me while bobbing her head up and down in imitation of dancing; she pats my chest delightedly whenever i pick her up, as though to say "oh there you are, mama"; she gives huggles and squeezes my back rhythmically with her little hands; she laughs and laughs and laughs with her dada over i don't even know what.

this is so. much. fun.
