a couple notes: about dates and wishes

just wanted to mention a couple things. first, depending on when you check the daily bebe, you may have noticed that i've been cheating on my dates. as josh has mentioned recently, time seems to be on shorter and shorter supply these days. bebe's mobility means that i can't sit at my computer and post when she's awake any longer, because i really can't take my eyes off her for more than a second. i usually start working on a post once she's gone to bed, but i'm often so tired that i get as far as picking out some photos before i zone out in front of the TV. so i find myself most often posting stuff from the previous day during her morning nap. i've been backdating these posts to reflect the day in question, not the day i posted, for my own record-keeping purposes. i'm actually just happy to not usually be more than a day behind! my goal has been to update this blog daily for bebe's first year, and while i haven't quite gotten every day, i've been pretty darn close. once she turns one, i will update at least once a week but won't stress about getting a post up every day.

and that brings me to my second point. many people have asked what bebe would like for a birthday gift. i've told them all the same thing: she really doesn't need anything, but i do have a wishlist for her on amazon, with a selection of fun and practical stuff, if you want to get her something. i hadn't intended to mention this here, because i certainly don't want it to seem like i am requesting more stuff for the lady whose room is already overflowing with adorable clothes and fun toys, but enough people have asked at this point that i thought including the link here would make sense. so: bebe's wishlist. i also put the link over in the sidebar and will probably take it down after her birthday (if i remember) and put it up again when we get close to christmas.
