yesterday we went out to do one of our favorite boston activities: a walk through back bay and then over to the esplanade. (josh is on vacation this week, so we're getting lots of great family time.)
before we left, i tried to get a picture of bebe in her cute sunsuit (courtesy of auntie jamie) and sun hat (courtesy of auntie ash). this is what i get when i say, "bebe, slow down for a second!" the kid never stops moving any more.

we took the train downtown. this was the first time that bebe was really interested in the subway -- as we waited on the platform we got to see a train come in to the station, going in the other direction, and she loved it. she waved as it left! we walked through back bay, enjoying the beautiful sunny day, and then over to the river where we unloaded beebs from her stroller for a picnic.
and some snuggles.

then, bebe was off. a girl's gotta practice her walking every chance she gets!

in this video, you can see how good she's getting at walking; you can see her dance some dance steps; and you can see that she has finally figured out the final piece in becoming a full-on walker: she can get herself back up from the ground when she falls. oh, and you'll also see, at the very end, her waving at a train crossing the bridge over the river, way off in the distance. her eyesight is way better than mine.
