so, here's what i don't understand about "evolution." how does our species benefit by the extinction, in our young, of any shred of a survival instinct? now that bebe can move on her own, she always, without fail, heads straight for things that will cause certain death. the following are just a few examples.

this series shows bebe's fascination with cords. first, she spots the cord. the excitement is visible on her face.

and this one i took accidentally while diving in between her and the outlet.
the next day, she came thisclose to sticking her finger in the socket. good mommy-blogger that i am, i paused to get a good picture this time before removing her.
and last but not least, she goes for the complete series box set of twin peaks. bebe marie, your daddy will kill you if you ruin that.
guess it's time to childproof...
