today we had a super fun playdate with our friend maren and her baby sister emmy. maren just turned two and emmy is five months old. i went to school with their parents (elementary school, in the case of their dad!), and it's been great to be back in touch with their mom missy. they live pretty close by and i was glad they were able to come over to morrie's house today. there is no indoor activity to take the kids to on wednesdays so we tend to go a little stir crazy.

emmy is at that age where babies do nothing but beam cuteness all over the place. she smiled and cooed and giggled and laughed. she was even cute when she was spitting up!
morrie doesn't look too sure about this whole baby thing. well, buddy, you better get used to it quick! (morrie's brother or sister is expected in august.)
on second thought, maybe babies aren't so bad...
eventually, all good things must come to an end. missy bundled the girls up and got ready to leave.
