something sad is about to happen. something so, so sad that even though i've known about it for months i don't think i've posted about it here. i've been in denial about it, but the truth is that nora jane and her family are moving back to california. they're leaving on saturday, so we've been trying to spend as much time together as possible. this morning all three birthday buddies got together at the tot lot.
nora jane burst into tears when bebe and i had to leave, stretching her little arms out towards us and sobbing "bebe! bebe!"
it made the moms cry a little bit, too.
