the daily bebe: social butterfly

oops, i forgot to post yesterday. i get all thrown off on the weekends. so i'm a bit behind in chronicling bebe's busy social life. her calendar has been jampacked recently, with three playdates over the past three days!

on thursday we got together with the birthday buddies to celebrate 10 months.

then, on friday afternoon, it turned out that jill and i were both desperate to get out of the house after our babies both took very short, very early second naps (perhaps this was premeditated?). we met up at the pond for a walk and then sat on the blanket for a while. we saw lots of dogs, which both beebs and nora jane were excited to point out to us. bebe says "dah" and nj says "gog." between them they've got all the sounds to say the word!

bebe was super snuggly with jill, which she has never really done before. while she was climbing all over nj's mama, hugging her and practicing standing up, nora jane was hanging out with me. we wondered if we should take this mom swap as a message that they're bored with us and would like to spice things up a bit.

and yesterday, we went down to providence for a long-overdue visit with ocean. although it's been several months since the girls last saw each other, they were fast friends.

after some time at the park, we retired to the kitchen floor to eat a mango,

which necessitated an almost complete disrobing. mangoes are sticky! the girls showed off their cloth-diapered baby booties, and bebe reluctantly let ocean have a turn with lambie.

then they danced for a while to ocean's favorite album, "baby loves hiphop" by the dino 5. bebe enjoyed it so much that we came right home and downloaded it from itunes!
