i woke up this morning with my stomach churning with excitement and nerves. sort of a cross between hooray-it's-my-birthday and oh-crap-i-didn't-study-for-the-final.
voting always makes me emotional. the feeling of participating in something larger than myself, of joining my one small voice to everyone else's, makes me tear up every time. i will be taking my daughter with me to vote today, and i can only hope that for her sake, and for the sake of her entire generation, our voices and our call for change are heard loud and clear. and that tomorrow feels like christmas morning.

i feel the same way! nervous AND excited. hopefully when we wake up tomorrow we'll know the country is headed on the right path. go bebe and liza!
