hooo boy. i just realized that tomorrow is june 1st and i've hardly posted anything this month. i have a ton of pics i want to share and in order to make it somewhat manageable i'm going to break them up into several different posts. i'll try to be better next month but i'm not making any promises...

christopher the lion. they say that when the wind is right you can hear his roars from a mile away. that's about how close we live to his perch atop the zoo but i haven't heard him yet.

some other highlights from early may:
taking a whole bunch of babies for a walk (emma, new josh, michelle and old josh)

for a while bebe was having major meltdowns around every step of the bedtime process. one of the adjustments i made that seemed to help was not forcing her into her PJs. she got to choose whatever she wanted to wear to bed. bonus: we ended up with some get-ups like the one featured here. stripey shirt, skull pants, differently-stripey socks.
we went to mems' and teed's house for a "bachelor party" teed threw for uncle ben. teed and bebe discovered their mutual love for mangoes.
and speaking of love for particular foodstuffs, the month of may 2010 is also notable because it was then that bebe was introduced to mommy's very favorite food: hot dogs! (organic, grass fed, nitrate-free, of course.)
she liked 'em.
may 2010 is also when bebe took a liking to the robe mems sent her over the winter. the first time she put it on, josh told her she looked like a jawa from star wars.
here is josh laughing after bebe cried "utinni!" she says it without fail every time we put the robe on her. good girl, beebs._
