she adds extra syllables to words. motorcycle is "mo-ko-ko-ko-ko-ko" and TV is "t-v-v-v-v."
today she insisted on taking a dump truck, a school bus and an airplane into her crib for nap.
her language is going through another explosion. she now strings many words together and is starting to grapple with the concept of pronouns. she can count objects up to three and has on a few occasions counted to five. after our visit with nora jane, who loves to sing, bebe can now often be found singing her own versions of twinkle twinkle, the itsy bitsy spider, and my personal favorite, row row row your boat, which sounds like this: "row row mer-ly mer-ly life-buh-DEEEEEM."
