playing!

so, i've posted pictures of bebe on her play mat before. but the truth is that before now she really hasn't done any "playing" to speak of. she'd lie under there just long enough for me to take a picture or two and then start to fuss. just in the past week, though, her vision seems to have developed dramatically. she'll now spend a good 15-20 minutes turning her head from side to side, looking at the animals and cooing. she does sometimes hit them with her hands, too, but i think that's just a coincidence.

the second-best part about this development, besides how fun it is to watch her grow and change, is that it usually gives me enough time to eat some breakfast before she needs to be held again.
