after our fun but very cold trip to the pumpkin festival on saturday, i finally accepted that fall is here to stay -- at least until winter comes along. so i put the bundle me on bebe's car seat (thanks bishops!) to keep her warm and toasty until spring is here.

the bundle me is great because it means i don't have to put big bulky coats or snowsuits on beebs -- which are not only a pain in the butt to wrangle onto a wiggly baby, they aren't safe to use with five-point car seat restraints. warm and safe, that's how i like my baby.
and she doesn't seem to mind.
and she doesn't seem to mind.

this may or may not be related to the change in weather, but poor beatrix has developed eczema. i am hoping it's just due to the antibiotics i was taking for an infection, since it appeared around the same time, and now that they are out of my system it will clear up. but eczema can be triggered by allergens or seasonal weather changes as well.

her poor fat cheeks are all red and scaly. it doesn't seem to be bothering her at all but my heart hurts every time i look at her little face.

we got some new soap and some moisturizer and we're hoping that those changes, coupled with less frequent baths now that the weather is cold and dry, will help. in the meantime, face is going by a new name: redface. (we're not too imaginative around here.)
